On leave!!

wow! my long-awaited and well-deserved leave is finally here! i've worked ALMOST everyday for the past 3 and half months... and worked really hard and long hours everyday... so i dare say i truly deserve this break man! haha!

i felt so sorry to my partner and my team for abandoning them these 11 days... and of course, my patients! how can i forget them? but well, i'm sure they'll still be in good hands and be well-looked after even though i'm gone. (after all... i'm not tt indispensable in my working world la...)

i think no matter how workaholic you are, how much work you have piled up, you should always take leaves. and i mean those kinda leave where none of the work stuff (AND staff) bothers you. this way, you can totally switch off and relax your mind.

most importantly, do things that you can't do when you had to work! like sitting in a salon for 4 hours while the hairstylists pamper me, visit the dentist (who bloody-h%^$ works ONLY office hours and hence i can't visit them since i'm working more than the number of hours compared to our daily SUNSHINE!), shop till i drop with no queues in the fitting rooms cos everyone else is (bwahahaha!) working except me!

the highlight of my leave is definitely the trip to Genting Highlands! I really can't wait to step outta singapore! haha!! even if it's just to Genting Highlands! it's also been a while since my family goes outta the country together! gonna be lotsa fun!

on a separate note, it's just been 3 days of my leave and i'm beginning to understand why i should continue working instead of being a taitai. i think i'll be a very very accomplished taitai... if they're graded by how much money they spend. i've easily spent about 1 fifth of my monthly salary in just 3 days!!!??!! crazee right? i think it's disgusting... even if i marry a rich guy, i'll be squeezing him dry of his assets within 3 years!! unless he allows me to continue to work of course... heh! my daily expenditure when i'm working is just $12 (taxi) + $5 or $0 (lunch... zero cos sometimes we get free lunch in the hosp) + $2 (mrt)... haha!

anyway, who cares for now? i'm on leave and i should enjoy it thoroughly!! money can be earned again! in fact, money's rolling in on the 24th... coming soon! yippeee! haha!
