On-call blues Part 2

I flipped the papers tt day and found a poster for Lisa Ono's Jambalaya tour on 25 Oct!! I was so excited!! almost couldn't wait to go find some kakis and quickly book the tix online!

BUT...

ALAS! i checked my on-call schedule and my heart sank...

damn! this on-call thingy really spoils my days and gives me mood swings!

i guess i can always beg ppl to change calls with me but i dun like doing tt la. spoils other ppl's schedules too and complicates matters. (like the nurses will all be very confused... and start calling the wrong peops)

it's the same when i'm desperately trying to meet up with this fren (who's a fellow HO) and the sms conversation goes...

Me: hey! how? dinner?
Her: how abt tues? i'm on-call on wednesday.
Me: darn! i'm post-call on tuesday and on-call on friday.
(that makes monday-saturday out! sunday is usually family day/boyfriend day...)
Her: hai... next week lor...

this has been going on for the past 1 month... when will we get to meet up man?

well... u guessed it... i'm on-call tom... tt's why u're reading my complaints again. haha!

P.S. it's not all tt bad actually... only good thing tt comes outta it is the call money... and maybe some say the learning experience *roll eyes +++ ( u mean learning how to be a super duper ECG technician and blood sucker?)*
