Some things that brighten up my day!

I saw my patients all dressed up in their own clothes at the corridor, waiting to be discharged. I walked pass them, waved goodbye and told them to take care of themselves. And they said to me, "Thank you for everything!"

*****************************************

I was attending to this patient, setting plug i think... he said, "I think you're the most hardworking doctor i've seen around here."

*****************************************

I smsed my consultant updating him about his patient and what i've arranged for her. He smsed back, "Thank you"

*****************************************

The MO's and HO's are changing teams. I dunno which team i'll be going to next. MO1 said, "come to my team next ok?" MO2 then said, "no no... come to my team!"

*****************************************

I was looking through a patient's file at the nurse's counter inconspicuously. A nurse said to another nurse, "team __ is Dr Cheong. Dr Cheong very nice one."

*****************************************

never underestimate how wonderful a few words of compliments can do. they certainly make a hard day's work satisfying and worthwhile. sure bad things happen too... but as long as i have these positive stuff to hang on to... i'm happy.

Do drop anyone near you a compliment everyday! they do wonders!
