Got the HOPEX results!! and i got my choice posting for Internal Med... so happpeee! was freaking out thinking i have a high chance of getting my 2nd choice... which will almost guarantee a more pathetic lifestyle than any other posting.

anyway, looking back at my life, i think i'm one very lucky girl. ever since we had to make any choices of schools, courses, postings, i've been getting my first choices. and most of the time, my grades happen to lie just at the cut-off. phew!! haha!

just wondering how i'll turn out if there's one glitch in any of my life's journey. if i din go to rg, i would've gone to rv. it would be a completely different me already i think. if i din get medicine, i'll be doing pharmacy. wah!! no calls... 8 to 5 job... woohoo! totally different! not to say which is better or worse... after all, i won't ever know what the other side is like until i've experienced it myself.

it's just kinda scary... like how one decision can affect e whole sequence of changes. i was just saying to roon and nic how i think the integrated programme fixes one's life too early. imagine u're just a 12-yr old and u subconsciously end up choosing how you want ur next 6 years to move towards. but i guess it's the same for us as well... at 12 yrs old, we made our first impt choice already.

it's good that my life's turning out alright la... i'm not really complaining much. i completed my choice schools and courses... i'm in a job which gives me quite a lot of satisfaction! i think i'm really lucky...
