Alcohol-laden Weekend!

we celebrated Ning's 23rd bday on friday... we did something vastly different from our previous bday celebrations. we went drinking!! haha! (drinking?? cg 19 drinking?? sure or not?) looking totally inexperienced at Harry's, we ordered some alcoholic cocktails based on how nice their names sounded. unfortunately, do not judge a book by its cover... Ning's drink was "blue hawaiian". gosh! such a nice name with such a vile taste... seriously tasted like some horrible cold medicine my mom shoved into my mouth when i was a kid!

Bao, Ken and Andy shared this passion fruit margarita... they found it nice but honestly, i thought it tasted like i was drinking pesticide... ;P gary's "green room" was alright... KJ ordered boring ol' corona beer... Liling ordered "Still got the blues", not too bad la but we had to stop her from drinking coz she was getting a rash (she's allergic to alcohol but insisted on drinking... hai)... luckily i wasn't so adventurous... i went with bailey's irish cream. sure to be nice... Mandy also not so adventurous... she ordered fruit punch... confirm nice... haha!

we had a lot of fun taking photos, chilling out, listening to a crappy "jazz" singer, being in the spotlight (cos we were sitting right next to the stage). in the end, we were still not cut-out to be clubbers after all. By 11pm, everyone was drowsy instead of high from the alcohol! haha! so we left for home...

waaahh!! saturday was a memorable day... i met up with some of my pri school frens, some of whom i haven't seen for 11 years!! how cool is that?!?! it was really great... some changed a lot, some looked the same, some changed a lot but still sound the same... haha!

we had buffet dinner at merchant court hotel and then went to clarke quay for some red wine. high class and expensive huh?? what happened to our 40cents dry mee pok and 20 cents soya bean? haha! it was so fun... reminiscing on old times... who sat with who? who always got picked by mrs chan? who made mdm quek cry? who was a pai kia?

lotsa catching up to do too... who's working where? who studied what? who's still slogging for their degree? (i was e only girl still studying without an income... boohoo!) who's getting married? who got married? haha...

wow... 11 years have changed how we look... all grown up now...
