Commencement

Finally!! i finally finished my med school! of course, ending university means wearing some really strange-looking robes and hat and doing the parade on stage to shake hands with a smiling old man i've never seen in my entire 5 years of uni life. PLUS take lots and lots of photos as if it's the only time i'm gonna wear that funny-looking thingy... (well, i bought it so technically i can wear it anytime i want for the rest of my life.)

haha! sounds brainless right? but i guess it's one of those rites we somehow hafta go through to enter the next big stage of our life... one of those once in a lifetime thingy... like 21st bday, wedding ceremony, etc.

haha! still rem the fuss in the robing room before the ceremony... everyone was in front of mirrors pulling at the robes, pinning up stuff... putting on the mortar board and arranging their hair. well, this is the best i could do...

My parents have waited and supported me for 5 long years!! seriously, i feel this ceremony was actually for them and i'm glad there's such a ceremony for them!

My best buddies!! My friendships with them lasted through sec sch, jc and med school! and thankfully we're still not sick of each other! cos we're even working in the same hosp now! haha!! this photo is sooo sooo precious and special to me!!

How can med school be the same without my wonderful cg19?! so sad 3 of them left early before we could gather everyone for a shot in that huge mess. but really glad we ALL made it!!

oh well... it ended in a flash. the ceremony... (as well as med school actually) we've all been working hard for this and my parents've been anticipating this day ever since day1 of sch. of course it was worth the effort and the wait! haha!
