yes my first call was horrible too. didn't sleep a wink. and i was so blur post call. i didn't know i had unfinished bld c/s and after settling stuff with my partner i left. apparently the sister was very angry with me for gg off early n switching off my phone :( my partner had my private number but took the cultures for me and didn't call me to come back :( very sad. hope they don't think i'm a stupid lazy slacker.
Remember there is always help around. You just need to build rapport with your other fellow colleagues and co-workers - the nurses.. As times goes on, you will find life get better with interpersonal relationship and PR ongoing.
There are many a times nurses taught and help HO to clear stuff which should be appreciated. Not to mention the active or passive helping the rountine duty drs clear some workload when they themselves see the day unpredictable.
