my poor jayjay

haaii... my jayjay went for grooming about 1 week ago and think they accidently nipped a part of his skin (i should go complain right?)... at first it was just a small lil cut but notti jayjay kept licking and biting on it. and it became this 10-cent coin-sized non-healing ulcer... to stop him from licking and dirtying his ulcer, i bandaged up his leg...

sorry for the blur image... jayjay looks like a botak beagle... instead of the fluffy king charle's... happening bright blue bandage huh... i had to wrap the gauze up otherwise he'll easily bite it off...

see how poor thing he is... frowning liao...

haaii... unfortunately, notti jayjay's too smart for his own good... he kept biting the bandage off!! so until now, his ulcer's still not healing... shucks... what if he has diabetes? what if it slowly becomes deeper n deeper and eventually becomes osteomyelitis? hmm... better make a trip to the vet again huh?

anyway, while trying to practise some auscultation on my newly-borrowed paeds stetho, i realized that jayjay has irregularly irregular heart beat... hmm... wonder how they're gonna do ecg's for jayjay. went to read up on AF for dogs... happens in heart failure but jayjay doesn't seem like he's in heart failure... no exertional dyspnea/PND/orthopnea... pedal edema quite hard to assess... ok ok... i think i study till i'm crazeee liao...haha!

hope jayjay gets well soon... he's really becoming a geriatric patient with multiple comorbidities man... boohoo...
