SIP is over...

hurray... shall not bother with an aftermath for SIP. think it's too boring... haha...

went for band prac today! WOW! there were abt 60 ppl i think... one big family! the best was when we had to move all the instruments from the concourse back to the band room cos the roof started leaking (what kinda lousy roof right? grr...)! everyone chipped in and moved the HUGE basedrum, timpanis, chairs, stands, etc. it's madness and lots of work but it just brings back sooo many fond memories... how we used to do that so often in the past... how wonderful...

gonna have intensive pracs next week in preparation for the concert on 28 dec. dunno how we'll sound... for now, think 2 pieces still sound quite raw. but i have faith in all of us... the raffles bands are always capable in putting up good performances at the last minute.

haha! i still remember how we sat together 1 week before SYF grand finals, shook our heads and said... "die liao...we suck!" but what did we get in the end?? best band leh!! haha!! so yup... i have faith in all of us.

on a sadder note, my jayjay's sick... boohooo!!! he's got FACIAL NERVE PALSY!!! i noticed it last nite! he started drooling quite a lot on the right side the past 2 days and i suddenly noticed some facial asymmetry when he smiled. rushed him to the animal emergency clinic this morning... poor thing... they checked all his other cranial nerves and they're ok. boohoo... they think it may be cos of ear infection so they're treating him for tt first and see how. and they said even after the ear infection cleared, the facial paralysis may be permanent. man... i was sooo scared last nite, so worried he may have a stroke.

haaii... everytime something lydat happens, i feel like i'm closer to the end of my darling's life... makes me feel a bit helpless... and all i can do is bring him to the clinic, give him medicine n wait for it to work. is there really NOTHING else i can do? NOTHING tt'll relieve him of the problem asap? haaaiii... i suppose that must be how many of the patients' relatives are feeling. if we feel it too, we'll understand why they behave in those irritating ways...

anyway, sorry... i tend to lapse into talking abt SIP... haha...

i watched pride n prejudice! read the book eons ago... so i watched the movie as if i knew nothing abt the show. actually i tot the movie was good immediately after i watched it. but my itchy fingers... went to pick up the book to reread it. and now i think the book is fantastic and the movie sux... haha! but then, the book's sooo much nicer to read now cos i can place the casts' faces into the characters and picture their expressions as i read. hmm... so i suppose the movie's still useful in that sense... haha!

and my lavender plant's still wet soil n seed... nothing growing it seems... how long does it take to germinate huh?? hmmmmmm...
