RWinds unite!

Yippee!! RWinds is gonna be up and running again! We're gonna work hard towards our end-of-year concert!! I'm so excited about it!

I was so upset i couldn't play for A Tempo this year coz i was away in auzzieland. (although i really hated the flute part for Pirates of the Caribbean... so phew in a way too!) felt so envious when i saw the photos in yahoogroups! it looked so fun!

anyway, it's ok! coz i'm gonna get a chance to play again! hahaha! I think life without band's really sad n boring... i've been in a band since pri 2! all the way to J2!! wow! band IS my life! whenever i listen to band pieces or watch other bands perform, i feel this pinch in my heart. i really long to sit there in the first row, holding my flute, sitting upright, looking at the conductor, playing good music with talented people, getting immersed in the outpour of emotions and melodious harmony, smiling at the audience's applause... life was so good... so good...

i suppose i can't say band's my first passion. maybe it was... haha! now medicine is my first passion. but life's really empty without band somehow. perhaps that is what's keeping me in the RWinds committee despite being so busy in final yr medicine. I wanna contribute and fight for something I really want... that is to play in a band!

i think a lot of us feel the same... which is why RWinds started out in the first place! Band was such an impt part of our lives in school that we can't imagine going without it now...

hopefully everything works out fine and we really get our wish to put up a good performance in December. hopefully i get to play some good music every sat once again... perform on stage for a hall of ppl once again... life will be good... so good...
