Fruitful day!

Wow! i did a lot of things today... now i'm super tired i feel like lying on my bed and K.O.-ing.

Initially i had so many things going on at around the same time today and i was scratching my head for the whole week wondering how i'm gonna split myself into 3 places. First was the mass casualty exercise in my hospital which started at 9 and they refused to tell us what time it'll end, except warn us that it ended at ard 4 or 5 in another hospital previously. Then, i was expected to be at the rgs 10-yr reunion for the batch of 1998 (yeah... i know... it's been 10 years!?!). and of course i have my regular dragonboat training.

Guess the only thing to do is prioritise prioritise prioritise.

Work was work... so i have no choice on the first. I can only go when the exercise is done. Period.

The choice between training which happens twice a week vs a once-in-10-years event... i think the answer is clear too huh? ok... i guess i din really hafta scratch my head that hard after all...

Luckily the mass casualty exercise was over by abt 2pm which gave me ample time to go to rgs for the reunion.

It was really great going back to rgs. And it's amazing how the school hasn't changed much! even the walls were maintained the same colour, the canteen stall names were all still the same! So many wonderful memories of that place... us having pe lessons, morning assemblies, band pracs and sectionals, recess, etc.

Meeting so many fellow batchmates and catching up on each others' lives were fun too! and i met my dear fellow flautist, elsie, whom i haven't kept in touch for 7 years!! i lost her contact after she moved to US! She happened to be in singapore for a visit these 2 weeks and it concided with this reunion! How marvellous right?

Seeing our dearest ex-principal, Mrs Carmee Lim, was such a joy too... and it reminded me of how she influenced us with her passion and zest for life itself. She's forever so enthusiastic and fun-loving! She's such a role model.

After that, i went shopping with jamie! I'm desperately looking for dresses for the upcoming weddings. i've 3 to attend!! and similar ppl are gonna attend these 3 weddings... so i actually need 3 dresses. darn! (just 1 entry ago, i was saying i need to curb my expenses. lydat how to curb?!?) Shopping and chatting with jamie was so much fun too... and i found a really beautiful and elegant (as jamie puts it) dress at marina square.

okie... i'm surprised i'm even typing this, considering how tired i am... guess i feel that such a meaningful day should be penned down somewhere.
