Ugly Singaporeans
The behaviour of some singaporeans really makes me feel disgusted! whatever courtesy campaigns, high-flyer education system, fine system obviously has failed to teach some singaporeans the decency of not cutting queues!
haaii... was at the Aviva Open badminton finals. okai... it's a really singaporean thing to queue up outside the gates like 1 hour before the match officially starts. there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. i'm prepared to do the same to secure good seats. But unfortunately, it turned out to be quite singaporean to CUT QUEUE too! sheesh... and there's definitely something seriously wrong with that!
they came half an hr before the gates open, stared at the long queue and said "wah! the queue so loong!!" next thing u know, they started loitering around, hanging around the front or middle of the queue and pretended to haf stood there since time begins! WAH LAO!
haha! i was queuing with nic and francis. suddenly we noticed this two indian ladies standing next to us who obviously wasn't supposed to be there. i asked nic loudly enough for them to hear, "Who are they huh? they were standing here meh?" They still pretended that nothing happened and continued standing there. until francis shouted "excuse me! excuse me!" they turned and we had to tell them the queue ends way at the back, not here. then they pretended that they were waiting for their frens... PLEASE LOR!!! they chose a place hidden by crowds of ppl to wait for their frens. how smart...
then next, this ah peh also pretend pretend... just stood next to us again. at the time, i was already very very pissed coz we could see that in front, a lot of ppl were doing the same thing but they weren't stopped! stoopit pushovers in front! losers!! so i just went up to him, tapped on his shoulder n said "uncle! hou4 mian4 pai3 dui4! (please queue at the back!)" he sheepishly said "har? orr..."
this uncle who was queuing behind us got really agitated as well and he actually went up to scold other ppl who cut queue. and he even scolded the people-in-charge for not controlling the crowd properly and allowing such things to happen. wah! good on him!
i haf this huge issue with people cutting queues... i mean it's absolutely not fair right? totally shameless! if u want good seats, u jolly well come early and queue. if u're later than others, too bad!
