Paediatrics long

haha... remember how i was complaining and complaining about how i got paeds long and how i'm gonna do badly for it...

ok.. in retrospect, i'm quite thankful for my exam combi... gave me more time to prepare and more focus during each exam... monday medicine shorts, wed surg, sat and sunday paeds. technically i could concentrate on a topic then throw them away and concentrate on another one... which was quite advantageous to me in a way..

i guess i can say i'm thankful now cos i got quite standard stuff for my paeds long... those that we confirm MUG like xiao and know A-Z about... albeit it was 2 coexisting standard conditions for my case... asthma and nephrotic syndrome.

quite standard questions and some very common sense questions... think one thing i learnt is to really calm down and use ur common sense. even if they ask some weird question u've never prepared or thought about before... answering based on first principles usually helps... and as soon as they see that u dun have a warped mental process, u'll get through it.

i'm really very very heng cos i din get any so-called smiling tigers, super intimidating dragons or sarcastic hyenas... all my examiners were angels... literally leading me and dragging me outta the abyss most of the time. waahh... better thank everyone who kept showering me good luck messages... thank my lucky stars who were shining brightly for me...
