yesh... i'm hopelessly mad about the taiwanese drama. to give you an inkling how mad, this is what i did... i woke up early at 7am to prepare to go clerking in the hospital. but after brushing my teeth, i decided not to clerk! instead i decided to stay home to just watch 2 episodes and then go for tutorial at 11am. however at 10am, all my grpmates suddenly decided to skip tutorial, so we called the tutor to cancel the tutorial. and so i happily spent the rest of the day watching another 6 episodes! haha!

i'm a sucker for drama and fiction la! it's the same with romance novels. i can be all curled up in a couch, reading and reading and reading for the ENTIRE day. i even hold the book while i walk to the loo. if i could carry my tv or computer to the loo, i believe i would. haha!

what's the big deal about fiction right? some ppl say it's so pointless cos they're all unreal. haha... i love it precisely cos it's all unreal and fantasy-like!

life is so real already. everyday we face real situations, deal with real problems, think about real issues, meet real ppl, etc. i feel tired. super tired at the end of the day.

i just need some avenue to get outta the real world for a while and live in some fantasy world... to experience how dreams can all come true in this fantasy world... and when things get evil or bad, shove it away and just say "ha! it's all fake anyway!"

the more brainless the show, the better. cos in the real world i already hafta think so much. the more ridiculous, the better. cos in the real world things are boring enough. the happier the ending, the better. cos in the real world there are too many sad things happening.

and i particularly enjoy those heart-wrenching and sweet romantic dramas starring super shuai4 and crushable tall guys (like Ming Dao! ooohh!) and really cute and bubbly girls (like shan cai in meteor garden). maybe behind my cold and independent exterior lies a lil girl who wishes to find a romantic fantasy to live in. haha!
